The ACS transfer station was established in 2000 and is fully licenced by the Environment Agency to accept both bonded and fibrous asbestos. Located in Canvey Island, the facility is equipped with several sealed asbestos storage containers to conveniently ensure that you do not have to book your attendance in advance. Our spacious site is able to accommodate several vans and decontamination units and is fully staffed for assistance and safety.

Directions coming from Canvey Road: turn off of Charfleets Service Road onto Charfleets Road with ‘Camping and General’ on your left. Follow Charfleets Road almost to the bottom, ignoring most satellite navigation systems which advise you to turn right onto the slip road. Continue past this, we are located on the right a few metres past ‘HBC Vehicle Services’ and next door to ‘F. Brazil Reinforcements Ltd’.
Directions coming from Roscommon Way: take the first exit at the mini roundabout leading you onto Romainville Way. Take the first right onto Kings Road, following it until you turn left onto Charfleets Road. ACS is located on your left, next door to ‘F. Brazil Reinforcements Ltd’.

We are licenced to operate between the hours of 07:00 – 18:30 Monday to Saturday. If you would like to gain access outside of usual opening hours but within this timeframe, please do not hesitate to inform us and we will endeavour to accommodate you.
